About me

I am Currently studying BA Performing Arts, at University of Wales, Newport. A course which is undertaken through the International Film School of Wales, and the Skillset Screen Academy. I also have a wide range of experience in theatrical performance and techniques such as the Stanislavsky System, Brechtian Techniques, and have undertaken devising Physical Theatre performances, and Postmodern style performances.


My current project with this course is relating to how gesture affects performance, and it's affect on society and this is being looked at through the play A Man Of Mode, by Sir George Etherege, and will be looking at the perfomance style of the Restoration Theatre, then adapting the play to a 2008 style of Gesture and analysing the outcome.
I have previously,with this course, undertaken the role of Valerie in Road, a play highlighting the struggle of the working class in 1986 in Britain.

I am also highly knowledgeable on technical aspects of the theatre, such as Lighting and Sound, these are also of great interest to me. I also have a qualification in Theatrical and Media Make-up.
I also have a wide range of experience for screen acting, and I am constantly working with film students at the International Film School of Wales to produce short films.


I was cast in a short film 'Babycakes' with the role of 'Ceri' in Cardiff, August 2006, which has achieved Best Fiction Film 2007 at the Ffresh Film Festival, student Award for Fiction 2007 at the Celtic Media Festival and Best Wales Based Production 2007 at the Swansea bay Film Festival. The film has also been screened at several international film festivals.



I have also, previously, been a member of and part of several productions with Gwent Young People's Theatre, including Helena - A Midsummer Night's Dream, Peter - Son of Man, and several other roles in productions including The Elephant Man, The Erpingham Camp, Alice's Adventures Underground, Lark Rise (from Lark Rise to Candleford) and Arabian Nights, with the group.
